Note the pin stripes on the body, hood and fenders. The original headlamps have gone being replace with 'bullet' ones with curved lenses.
It was on the road in 1962 During the 70's he rebuilt the car with a Ford V8 289 engine and added Jaguar components:
E-Type gearbox, MK2 rear axle, IFS and wire wheels. The rebuild then stalled and it wasn't till the late 1990's early 2000's when work was resumed and finished. His son owns the car now and in June 2024 was available for sale.
